Welcome to the le-ts.co.uk online shopping facility. Please note, our website displays our products and offers the opportunity for customers to make a purchase. We do not enter into a contract with a customer until we have sent a confirmation email accepting an order. For the purpose of the Conditions “the Company” means Lighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd, and “goods” means any material or service supplied by the Company. The ordering of goods from the Company will be considered to be an acceptance of the Conditions and where any condition conflicts with that of a customer’s Conditions of Purchase, the Company’s Conditions shall apply.


Purchasing information, Delivery and Refunds
Once your order has been confirmed by email, you should check that it is correct and inform us immediately if it is not. Please allow up to 14 days for product delivery worldwide. All P&P / shipping charges stated are for one unit posted. We will provide further details of post / shipping and packing charges for more than one unit on request. We may be able to deliver your order by a next day service if required and will provide charges on request by email. If a product is damaged in transit and is not in an acceptable state on delivery please notify us immediately. If we are not notified immediately we may not be able to replace or refund the purchase.

Returns Policy
We want you to be totally satisfied with your online shopping experience. We are happy to assist you with any return or refund issues you may have, subject to the following conditions:
1.    For ANY and ALL return or refund issues, you must FIRST notify us in writing by e-mail, fax or post. (NB: NOT by telephone) Your correspondence MUST include; your Order / Invoice Number, a description of the product you bought, the reason for the return and where you purchased it. We will then promptly write back to you or email explaining how to proceed from that point.

2.    In the case of goods received, but no longer wanted for whatever reason and a request for a return / refund sought, within ten (10) working days from your receipt of the goods, we will honour this PROVIDED that the goods are in their original packaging and condition and you include proof of purchase.

In other words, the products are UNOPENED and UN-USED. We must inform you that this is a non-negotiable issue. If you are in any doubt about which product to order, please call us before you make a purchase for some no-obligation friendly advice. The cost and responsibility of returning the goods to us safely will be borne by you. Please send the goods back to us via recorded or courier delivery, securely packaged to avoid any transit damage. We may help you to do this depending on circumstances.

Should there be any missing parts or damage, we reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund due to you, for the part or whole value of the missing or damaged items.

3.    In the case of faulty goods, we may EITHER; ask YOU to send them back to us (in their original packaging) initially at your expense (and we will refund this to you upon their safe arrival to us once confirmed that the goods are indeed faulty) or WE may arrange to pick up the goods (at our expense) from you at a suitable time. We will then promptly send you a replacement (at our expense) or give you a full refund, depending on what you requested from us.

4.    We regret that refunds will not be issued for products that are NOT returned with their original packaging or show obvious signs of previous use, unless they are faulty and still within the manufacturer's warranty.

5.    If, for some reason, we have to cancel an order or make a refund to your card in part or in full, we will do this promptly and contact you via e-mail or phone to inform you.

All refunds incur a £10.00 administration charge unless otherwise advised by us.

Any refunds issued will only be credited to the Credit or Debit Card used for the original purchase and will only be made after we have received and inspected the goods.

There may be a 5-10 day delay between us refunding your card and it actually showing up on your account, so please be patient as this is a process that the banks control.

Specially ordered products or sale items may NOT be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights.


If you are an individual who has previously ordered from us within the last three months, please email us when you place your order because you may be entitled to a customer discount with proof of purchase.

Complaints procedure
If you are unhappy about any aspect of our service or our product please contact us. We will endeavour to improve the service if required and to answer your queries.

Our products have a One Year Guarantee.

Data Protection
We make every effort to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and we will not send you unsolicited emails or newsletters. We request that you opt in by ticking a box and register with us if you choose to receive product information from us and wish to be on our mailing list. We ask for your contact information as part of our online shopping service so that we can deliver to you and email you confirmation of your order. We will hold your contact details on file whilst we process your order. We will never pass your details to any other companies who are not part of our trading process or sell them on to other companies.

We may give our customers the option of completing a questionnaire as part of a market research process to improve our product range, however this would be a voluntary action by the customer and the same company privacy policy applies to any voluntary information we might receive. If we ask our customers for voluntary information we will specify what the information is to be used for and we will only use it for that purpose and no other. We do not give access to customer contact information to any of our employees unless they need to know for the purposes of delivery and order fulfilment. We may give a customer's telephone number to a courier if it will make delivery for our customer more efficient.

We will not hold information on our customers longer than necessary and if we are notified that it is inaccurate we will update it within 28 days. We will respond to a customer written request for a copy of the information we may hold on them within 40 days. There may be an administration charge of up to ?10 for supplying this information. If a customer changes his/her mind about wishing to receive mailings or marketing material we will stop including the customer in mailings within 7 days of receiving the written request to do so.

This policy may be changed at any time without notice.


General

Credit Accounts
Prospective customers wishing to open a credit account should complete a Credit Account Application form. Until the opening of an account has been confirmed by the Company in writing goods will only be supplied on a pro forma basis.


Shipping & Delivery
Choice of Courier shall be at the discretion of the Company. A charge will be made to cover carriage on orders which will vary depending on weight Geographic location and delivery service chosen by the customer.. Delivery dates are quoted in good faith but shall not amount to any contractual obligation to adhere to such dates. No liability for direct of consequential loss arising from any delay will be accepted.


Privacy & Security
Here at Le-ts.co.uk we are fully committed to making your online shopping experience safe and secure. We use a 128-bit encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect your personal data.
Our system authenticates the connection between your computer and ours and will encrypt any transferred data. A padlock symbol will appear on your browser to show you that the system is secure. Please note: We do not have access to your credit card details when you pay online. This is all handled by our server; making the system very safeLighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Damage, Loss in Transit Shortages Returns & Replacements
The Company will, when the quoted price includes delivery, repair or replace free of charge goods damaged in transit, provided that the carriers and the Company receive written notice of such damage within two days of delivery.   Goods should be checked, with the Delivery Note enclosed with the goods upon receipt and if received damaged or unsatisfactory condition must be signed for as such.
Shortages must also be notified to the Company within two days of delivery, failing which no liability will be accepted.
Non delivery of goods must be reported in writing to the Company within two days of receipt of invoice or advice of despatch, whichever is the earlier.
Goods correctly supplied may not be returned without written agreement. Goods so returned must be consigned carriage paid and be accompanied by full details stating the invoice number and date together with the reason for return. Any article that has been supplied to special requirements cannot be accepted by the Company for return under any circumstances and in other instances a re-stocking charge will imposed.

Ordering

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.   We accept credit card payment. We accept Paypal When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Prices are subject to variation without notice at any time prior to order, and in any event are only valid for the day of placement of an order on line and a period of 5 days thereafter. The products, pricing and delivery on this site are exclusively for mainland UK . Lighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd. will be pleased to respond individually to email or phone enquiries from other customers with pricing and delivery specific to their location.
All quotations are made at current prices, but are subject to alteration without notice and goods will be charged at prices and discounts ruling at the date of despatch. The price and discount quoted will be applicable only to the quantity specified on the customer’s enquiry.
Any delivery times quoted are advisory only and may be subject to alteration dependant on supplier’s delivery to the Company. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss suffered by the customer in respect of delay or price increase beyond the Company’s control.   Where no period is stated in the Company’s quotation. The contents will be valid for 28 days.
All accounts are payable on or before the last day of the month following the date of invoice. The Company reserves the right to withhold supplies to any overdue account, and to charge interest on any amount not settled by the due date.  Where applicable Value Added Tax will be charged at the rate ruling at the date of despatch. Quotations are made exclusive of VAT but VAT may be shown as a separate item.


Force Majeure, Errors and Omissions
Force Majeure The Company shall not be liable for its failure to perform any contract if such failure arises from any of the following : War, Civil disturbance, Fire, Strikes, Lock-Out, Flooding, poor weather conditions and Parliamentary Status or other rules issued by any Government Department and any other causes similarly beyond the Company’s control. The company reserves the right to amend any accidental error and omission without liability


Supplemental terms for Consumers

Where the Customer is a Consumer as defined by the relevant Statute or Regulations, the following supplemental terms shall apply, and Lighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd.’s  standard terms and conditions above shall be construed with such minimum variations as are necessary to put these supplemental terms into effect, and to comply with the duties imposed on a seller in such Consumer sales. Le-ts.co.uk does not seek to exclude any of the mandatory rights and remedies granted to Consumers under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended. Where a sale to a Consumer is concluded subject to the Distance Selling Regulations as amended or substantially re-enacted or replaced from time to time, The company shall comply with the requirements of such Regulations and in particular as follows, The Customer shall be given the facility to retain in durable form the details of the transaction and the confirmed Order. The Customer shall have a cooling off period commencing with the confirmation of Order (or provision of the required information if later) and expiring 7 days after delivery of the goods. If the Customer wishes to cancel the order in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, he shall notify Lighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd.  in writing by post or email, and shall at his cost return the goods by means notified by Lighting Energy Technology Solutions Ltd. in pristine un-used condition in their original packaging, and on safe receipt the company will make a refund.


Health and Safety at Work 1974
All goods are sold on the express undertaking that customers are aware of the requirements and provisions of the above Act. The Company takes every care to ensure that goods offered for sale comply with the above Act when properly used and will not accept any liability in the event of misuse by customers.
